Primrose Hill Strolling: A Guide

July 24, 2018

Notting Hill, Kensington and Chelsea are neighbourhoods that every Londoner knows too well and may or may not be sick of just yet. Such is the strength of their allure, that fellow residents are probably a tad bit too familiar with random strangers lurking outside their doorstep for an Instagram photos.

Enter picture: Primrose Hill an underrated spot overlooking a paranoiac view of the city is overloaded with families and the cutest dogs. Exit the park and you'll end up seeing beautiful houses and cafes, with plenty to do or see. Notting Hill, move aside, for a less crowded and less known-about area in town. Read along for a guide to help you get around.

WHERE TO CLICK THOSE #OOTDS

1. Chalcot Square: A square of doll-houses in every shade imaginable. It gets a tad bit quiet here so take a move as quickly as possible to avoid disturbing the residents (speaking from personal experience).

2. Chalcot Crescent: An arc of candy coloured houses that are too good to be true.

3. L' Absinthe: Fancy feeling like you're in the South of France when it's only just a corner street cafe in London? Then this is the place to be, and while you're at it you may as well eat up.

WHERE TO OVEREAT

1. Greenberry: Weekend brunch is a must and so are the pancakes!

2. Primrose Bakery: The name speaks for itself so head there to fulfil your sugar cravings. In winters it's the perfect spot to wind down for a hot chocolate.

WHAT TO DO OTHER STARING AT CUTE PUPPIES WALKING NEARBY

1. Primrose Hill Books: For all the bookworms who dislike large, overwhelming book-store chains, Primrose Hill books will be a welcome escape.

2. The Fitzroy's Flower Collection: The beautiful substitute to the oh-so-famous 'Wild at Heart' flower shop that floods every blogger's Instagram.

Have a lovely week ahead x
